Peter Enestrom- I have have founded and invested in a number of education- and technology-oriented companies, first as a venture capitalist at a $300+M fund, University Ventures. Inc. Magazine recently named one such company, Qubed, as one of “10 Tech Companies Shaking Up Their Industry”.
My other companies have been featured in publications such as the Washington Post and my past business partners include the founding design team of Etsy and Scott L. Kauffman, now CEO and Chairman of the 6th largest advertising conglomerate, MDC partners.

The Vanish came about in 2008 when two long-time friends, Mike Elmgreen and Peter Enestrom , decided to re-create their days playing in punk bands growing up in Australia and create their own cases. Despite living on opposite coasts of the US, the pair exchanged song ideas over the internet from their San Francisco and New York City studios. Their style quickly developed into a boiling fusion of post-punk, nu-wave and electro, complimented by lyrics dealing with identity and conformity. Now based out of New York City, TheVanish came to the attention UK Label, Eye Industries who promptly signed them after the band captured the attention of the blog world in 2009.
